Patient Transport Services,  offers our “Bed to Bed” service for patients that require stretcher transport. Stretcher Transport Vehicles are operated by two Transport Specialists that are trained to ensure they are outfitted with the best possible skills and knowledge to serve you and your loved ones.   Our on-board staff is CPR-HCP and First Aid certified, with  oxygen administration and of course, extensive driver training.   We pride ourselves in providing you or your loved ones with the highest level of care, compassion and professionalism.

This mode of transport is appropriate for clients that are confined to a bed or unable to sit upright in a wheelchair for a sustained time period. Clients should not be likely to need medical attention or monitoring during transport, as this would necessitate ambulance transport.

Transport specialists will transfer the client to and from the stretcher, secure them in the vehicle, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the transport to the destination. Our drivers undergo thorough background screening and are trained extensively in safe driving, customer service, disability sensitivity, proper lifting and transferring techniques, stretcher securement procedures, and much more. All drivers are certified in first aid and CPR. This mode of transportation is commonly used for doctor appointments, hospital discharges, Hospice services, and outpatient diagnostic, surgical and rehabilitation services.

Colorado Transport also frequently transports clients by Stretcher going to the airport or to destinations out of the area or out of the state. Same day services are available, but it is recommended to order transports in advance whenever possible.
